My work team and I ate lunch at Locals in Frankfort, KY today, and I ordered the veggie lover pizza. It came with Kenny’s mozz, seasonal mushrooms, fresh onion and green pepper, fresh tomatoes, roasted garlic, and a garlic oil base. I added local shredded chicken. Their pizzas are traditional wood-fired pizzas that show small black spots on the crust and bottom.
The caramelization of the roasted garlic + the savory pizza toppings = a delicious pizza! I rate this a 7.5/10 for taste!
Their supply chain and farmers include a large scope of producers from all across KY with small family farms, large-scale operations, and backyard gardeners.
